She is also a screenwriter, living and working in Southern California. She writes the Kate Roark series of police procedural mysteries as well as the Gina Olivetti series of hardboiled noir private eye ( PI ) mysteries. She is the webmaven for the San Diego Chapter of Sisters in Crime. Her horror and paranormal writing is mostly about modern day vampires. She has at least dabbled in most genres of literature including literary fiction as well as genre fiction or commercial fiction. She is also a journalist, co-writing a weekly feature in the on-line newspaper the Metaverse Messenger in Second Life as well as writing a quarterly column reviewing websites for the ATA Journal. She is currently working on a novel or two and a non-fiction book on the Tarot Court cards.
